This is the Christmas version of the original Donkey Derby - the roll-a-ball fairground game everyone remembers from seaside holidays and travelling funfairs. Same idea, just with reindeer instead of horses: you roll your balls up the lane and through the coloured holes to score points, and the more points you score, the further your reindeer moves toward the finish line.
We can set it up as a 2-player game or link two cabinets together for a 4-player race. The header panel and fabric base skirt run a full Christmas theme - Santa's sleigh, flying reindeer, snowy village and pine trees - with built-in LED lighting and a PA system for race commentary. If you want the cabinet skirt swapped for your own colours or logos, we can do bespoke branding on request. Also known as Kentucky Derby, Roll and Bowl, Donkey Derby, Roll a Ball or Bounce a Ball.
It's a fast, busy game at Christmas parties, exhibition stands, sales promotions, trade fairs and team-building nights. We're based in Rotherham, just off the M1, M18 and A1, and December work takes us across Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster, Worksop and Chesterfield, with Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, London and the NEC all routine runs. Indoor hire works on any floor; outdoor hire needs some kind of cover, which is what our Mini Marquee pop-up gazebo is for.
We've been doing this over 25 years, with £5M public liability and 95% of our kit owned in-house - so the unit you book is ours, not sub-hired in the week before your date. Suitable surfaces
OK indoors on artificial grass or hard floors, and outdoors on grass, concrete, hard surfaces, mixed grass and hard, or wood chip. Outdoor hire has to be under cover - pair it with our Mini Marquee pop-up gazebo if your spot isn't sheltered.
