Christmas entertainment hire in Sheffield from DB Entertainment: Santa's grottos, walk-in snow globes, reindeer racing, the Rodeo Reindeer, market stalls and party games. Everything comes from our own warehouse in Rotherham, ten to fifteen minutes away via the A630 Parkway or the M1 at J33, which makes Sheffield the shortest December delivery run we do. We've been running Christmas events for over a decade, from a £75 Santa Sky Dancer to dress an entrance to the £2,995 Nutcracker Trail for a whole shopping street.

December in Sheffield means hotel Christmas parties in the centre, council and community fairs out in the wards, and end-of-term events at both universities. The DoubleTree by Hilton on Cherry Street had our Bounce a Ball Reindeer Racing and Whack a Snowman for its staff party in December 2025, and S4S (UK) Ltd booked the Rodeo Christmas Pudding and a High Striker for their night at Sheffield City Hall in December 2023.
The biggest job we've done in the city was Spiro UK's Christmas market at their Burton Road offices in December 2025: two Christmas market stalls, hot chocolate, candy floss and popcorn carts, three leaderboards, Strike a Light, Whack a Snowman, both reindeer racing games, the Rodeo Christmas Pudding and an AI Photo Booth, all run by four of our staff on one afternoon. Woodhouse traders' association has had gazebos and a PA from us for their Christmas market on Market Square too. Santa's Grottos and Snow Globes
The Deluxe Santa's Grotto is our walk-in inflatable log cabin, printed with snowy walls and a warm-lit interior, and it goes up in under five minutes. It needs a 13ft x 14ft space with 11ft of headroom, sits indoors on hard floors or artificial grass, and outdoors on grass. Hire starts at £295. We carry a second Deluxe unit and the standard Santa's Grotto Hire from £245, so two grottos can go out on the same December weekend, and school halls with lower ceilings have options too.
For the photo moment of the event, the Giant Inflatable Snow Globe (from £1,295) lets whole families step inside a snow globe, and the Christmas Snow Globe Selfie Pod (from £895) is the compact version. Add the throne chair for Santa's seat, a Santa Sky Dancer at the door and Nutcracker props along the queue, and the Christmas grotto experience is complete without you having to source anything yourself.
Christmas Party Games and Rides
The games that go out most in December are the three reindeer racing formats: the original Reindeer Racing from £499, Bounce a Ball Reindeer Racing from £699 and Roll a Ball Reindeer Racing from £995. They work for a family fun day and an office party alike, and watching colleagues race each other is most of the entertainment. The Batak Snowball Smash is our Batak reaction wall in Christmas colours - we also cover the standard machine on our Batak hire in Sheffield page - and Whack a Snowman is the two-player version of the seaside classic.
The Rodeo Reindeer and the Rodeo Christmas Pudding both come with one of our trained operators included in the £395 hire, which is why they're the staff-party regulars. Rachel said it after her works do: Everyone enjoyed having a go on the Rodeo Reindeer at our staff Xmas party. It all went smoothly, which is what you need when you're planning a party.
Christmas Markets and Light Switch-Ons
We hire Christmas market stalls from £295, with candy floss, popcorn, pick and mix and a honey roasted nut cart to fill them, and a run of carnival side stalls from coconut shy to hoopla. December afternoons go dark early, so the power and lighting side matters too: festoon lighting, the super-silent lighting tower and generators keep a switch-on or market running when the site has no mains supply.
