A freestanding score board with a whiteboard marker, for making the league table public. Whoever is running the games writes the names up, updates the scores after each round, and the whole field can see who they need to catch. It is the difference between a loose collection of games and a competition, and it changes how hard people try.
It goes out with our speed radar and Batak walls, where every player wants their number on the board, and with rodeo bulls, where the leaderboard keeps the queue competing against the current champion instead of just waiting for a turn. It is equally at home next to a games corner of giant Jenga and Connect 4, at school sports days, or beside the Space Hoppers Grand National for a full afternoon of heats.
Being a whiteboard, it does the flexible jobs too: team names and heat times, a running order for speeches, or a 'back in 5 minutes' sign for the stall. One customer who hired it alongside a rodeo bull told us the phone team 'answered all my questions and were very helpful' from first call to collection.
From £40, delivered and collected by our own drivers. It is an indoor item - the board and stand are happiest on a hall floor, sports hall or marquee base. Delivered orders carry a £50 minimum spend, so the board usually joins another hire on the same van. Practical Details

- The kit: a freestanding score leader board with a whiteboard surface and marker included.
- Power: none needed.
- Surfaces: indoor use on hard floors or artificial grass. Not suitable for any outdoor surface.
- Space: a floor footprint of roughly half a metre square beside whichever game it is scoring.
- Staff: hire is unstaffed as standard; add one of our supervisors if you want someone running the scores and the heats.
- Minimum spend: delivered orders carry a £50 minimum spend plus delivery cost. Collection from our Rotherham warehouse is possible instead, subject to a deposit and photo ID.
