Our ground protection mats are 113cm x 244cm HDPE trackway panels, also called track mats, ground protection boards, trackway or temporary access mats. We carry a large quantity here in the warehouse in stillages, ready for short or long-term hire across Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, Worksop and the rest of the UK.

The hand-hole cutouts along the edges mean two people can lift and lay a mat without plant, and the raised diamond tread gives grip for pedestrians and vehicles. They most often go out to protect ecologically sensitive ground - sports fields, golf courses, parkland and landscaped areas where vehicles, plant or heavy footfall would otherwise chew the turf up. We use them as a base under stage hire legs and along the edge of marquees, and they're equally useful for temporary roadways, car park overflow, pedestrian walkways and emergency access on utilities and civil engineering jobs.
We own the mats, the stillages and the delivery vehicles - 25 years hiring out of a 25,000 sq ft warehouse five minutes off the M1, M18 and A1, with £5M public liability as standard.
