Side Games

Our Side Games package bundles five of our most favourite side games into one booking: Giant Snakes and Ladders, Giant Connect 4, Giant Jenga, Beat the Buzzer and four Space Hoppers. Individually these come to £562+VAT; the package price is £149+VAT, which is a £413 saving and the reason we put the bundle together. It's the one we'd suggest for a school fundraiser, a village fete or a wedding reception where you want a row of side stalls rather than one big inflatable.

Four of the five games are simple garden-games sized to go anywhere. The Giant Snakes and Ladders is an 8ft x 8ft deluxe mat, up to 4 players, children and adults. The Giant Connect 4 and Giant Jenga are the classic oversized wooden versions - kids and adults, indoor or outdoor on any flat surface. The four Space Hoppers are exactly what they sound like, and they're great for a side-stall race at a charity day or school fair. The Beat the Buzzer is the steady-hand buzz wire game - guide the metal handle along the wire without touching it, or you'll hear the buzzer and go back to the start. It's suitable for children and adults and works as well on an exhibition stand as it does at a birthday party.

Surfaces and power

None of the five items needs a power supply except the Beat the Buzzer, which is self-contained with its own battery or can plug straight into the mains. All five are suitable for children and adults. Indoors, all five will go on hard hall floor, gym floor or artificial grass. Outdoors, four of the five go on grass or hard standing - the Space Hoppers are an outdoor-grass exception (their surface panel marks hard standing as not suitable), so if your venue is all tarmac or concrete you may want to swap them or leave them off; mention it when you get a quote. We carry £5 million public liability on every hire, around 95% of our kit is owned in-house from our 25,000 sq ft warehouse five minutes off the M1 at Rotherham, and we've been hiring around Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley for over 25 years.

Delivery, set up and collection between 8am and 6pm is included, and we're typically flexible on drop-off and collection times if the event runs longer. Overnight keep is £25 per item if you need them all for the whole weekend. See our delivery page for the full list of postcodes we cover.
