North Anston Parish Hall is run by Anston Parish Council and sits within a 22-acre recreation ground on Ryton Road in North Anston. Originally a miners' welfare hall, the building was extended and renamed in 1992. There are two hireable halls: the Main Hall (180 standing, 90 seated) and the Middle Hall (100 standing, 60 seated). Both have kitchen facilities, tables, and chairs. There is a car park next to the hall, and the recreation ground has play equipment, a skate park, bowling green, and cricket pitch.
Please note that inflatables and bouncy castles are not permitted inside the parish hall. However, we have plenty of indoor entertainment that works brilliantly here. For children's parties, our arcade games are a big hit, including Whack a Mole, prize crane, dance arcade machine, and retro arcade games. You can add side games like giant Jenga and giant Connect 4, or a 9 Pod Colour Maze for younger children. Fun food machines for candy floss and popcorn go down well at parties too.
For adult events, we supply photo booths, magic selfie mirrors, Batak Pro reaction games, and PA and music equipment. Alcohol is permitted with prior approval from the parish council. Hire runs until 11pm Monday to Saturday, or 8pm on Sundays.
If you want inflatables for an outdoor event on the recreation ground, that can be arranged separately with the parish council. We carry £5 million public liability insurance and own 95% of our equipment in-house. Call us on 0114 345 0135 or get in touch to discuss what works for your event at North Anston.
