The Megawire is our giant buzz wire game, a floor-standing version of the classic steady hand challenge. You'll hear it called Mega Wire, Beat the Buzzer, Beat the Bleep, the giant buzzer or a wire loop game.
Pick up the wand and guide the loop along the twisting wire without letting it touch the sides. One touch and the buzzer sounds, the lights flash and you're back to the start. Fastest clean run wins, fewest buzzes works just as well, and a built-in timer counts every attempt, so running a leaderboard competition needs nothing more than a whiteboard.
One player goes at a time while everyone else watches, which is why it pulls people onto exhibition stands and trade stands. Run it as a timed competition and delegates come looking for the queue. It suits corporate fun days, team building, school events, freshers fairs, weddings and parties, and we have supplied it for corporate events including Amazon's annual summer BBQ, where it shared a bill with laser quest, bungee trampolines and a human demolition ball.
Touching the wire completes a real circuit, which makes it a handy demo when schools get onto electricity topics.
It stays quiet when you need it to. Switch to lights-only mode and it plays silently at conferences, offices and anywhere noise would carry. It works indoors on solid floors and outdoors on grass or hard standing (never set up straight onto concrete, wood chip or mixed surfaces), and needs roughly six feet of clear floor space plus room for whoever is playing and watching.
