These are the black poly folding chairs you've sat on at most school assemblies, conferences and wedding breakfasts - you'll hear them called samsonite chairs as well, same chair. The seat and back are contoured moulded plastic, the frame is 19mm riveted steel with a black finish, and each one takes up to 115kg. They're certified to BS 4875 Level 4, the standard for contract seating that gets set up and packed away day after day.
They fold flat, so they stack into a small space in the van and are quick to lay out and stack away again at the end of the night. The black finish blends into most rooms, or dress them with covers and sashes for weddings and award nights - hotels do that with them regularly. Because they're so quick to put out and put away, they suit schools, offices, conference centres and community halls that turn rooms around between sessions.
We've supplied them at serious scale. Darren Dawson booked 200 of these along with stage, sound and heaters for a company-wide presentation, and said "The guys turned up well in advance, set everything up and made sure I was happy before leaving site." Every hire carries £5m public liability as standard.

In use
Suitable indoors or outdoors, on grass or hard flooring. The polypropylene seat and back wipe clean between uses, and the legs finish in plastic glides, so wooden floors are safe. The chair is one of our event extras, added to quotes for marquee days, stage days, school events and exhibitions alike - our delivery schedule already includes several runs a week to the NEC in Birmingham, Manchester Central, Telford Exhibition Centre and ExCeL London.
