If you spent your youth in the arcades trying to master every level of the dance machine, this hire is for you. Two players step onto commercial dance pads and go head-to-head, hitting arrows in time with the music across four different dance games. Difficulty levels run from beginner right through to expert, and there is a serious competitive scene out there. We've seen some genuinely talented people at events, so the machines are set up to challenge everyone.

It's as much fun to watch as it is to play. The Dance Machine is an open arcade game, so a crowd always gathers to watch people having a go, which is half the entertainment. Add a magnetic scoreboard and you've got a tournament running all day.

Each unit comes with twin 42" LG LED screens, holding rails, a built-in PA and LED arcade lights. Music covers decades, from 70s disco to 90s classics. The unit measures 2m x 2m x 2.3m and runs off a standard 13A socket, so it fits into function rooms, hotel ballrooms, marquees and outdoor areas. A trained member of DB staff sets up, runs the game and packs down, so you don't need to assign anyone from your team to operate it.

We've hired the Dance Machine to events at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, near Trafalgar Square for an outdoor event with cover and power, and a full week at Manchester Arena with scoreboard.
