The Miami Crazy Dance is the big one: a full-size fairground thrill ride where twenty riders sit along one long bench under overhead restraints, and the whole ride swings them up and over in a high arc. It's the ride people queue for with their hands in the air, and the painted MIAMI FEVER frontage with its rows of coloured bulbs gives your event a proper fairground look.
How it rides
Riders load from the raised platform at the front, take a bucket seat each, and the padded restraint comes down over them. The Miami then runs its cycle, lifting the bench round through the air, so every pass gives you that weightless moment at the top. The old tagline still sums it up: wave your hands in the air like you just don't care!
Who can ride
Up to 20 people ride each cycle, and children and adults are both welcome, subject to a minimum rider height. We confirm the exact restriction when you book rather than quoting a figure we can't back up. If you've got younger children who wouldn't meet it, the Juvenile Jump and Smile and Juvenile Mini Waltzes keep them busy.
Space and access
The unit measures 45ft x 15ft and stands 25ft tall, so it needs a clear 50ft x 20ft with 26ft of headroom, plus room for the queue and the lorry route. Good vehicle access is essential: gate widths, tight turns and slopes all matter, so send photos or a site plan and we'll check the site properly before you commit. It works outdoors on grass or suitable hard standing, and indoors where the access and clear height allow.
Where it works
Corporate fun days, public fairs, school festivals and bigger private events. It pairs well with Dodgems and side stalls like Hook A Duck, or slots into Fun Fair Package 1. We've been running fairground rides since 1999 and deliver across Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley and the rest of the UK, and the ride comes staffed by our own team.
DB Entertainment have provided rides etc for our employee event for a number of years now. They always come at a time when they said, get everything ready and manage it completely. Gemma Lennon said.
