The Juvenile Jump and Smile is a proper little fairground ride, the type you'll often hear called the frog ride. The cars run round a lit centre pole and hop over the bumps in the platform as they go, and ours is painted up with frog artwork on the cars and a big "Hold Tight" sign at the top. We bring the fair to you, and it suits any occasion from your school fair to a large corporate fun day.
Children ride two or three to a car behind a lap bar, and it takes adults too, so a parent can sit in with a nervous one rather than watch from the fence. It's the right size for children who aren't ready for the dodgems or the waltzer yet.
What comes with it
- A trained ride operator for the full hire, normally a four-hour session
- The ride's own generator, so you need no mains power on site; if the rest of your event needs power, our generators and petrol blowers are on the hire list too
- Floodlights at no extra charge if your event runs into the evening
- £5 million public liability insurance, with risk assessments sent to your venue before the day
The space it needs
- 20ft by 20ft of ground, standing 12ft tall
- 25ft by 25ft once the safety fencing is up
- Runs on grass, hard standing or an indoor hard floor, so a school hall or sports hall takes it as happily as a gala field
It hires from £495 plus VAT, the lowest ride price on our books, and it spends the season travelling from school to school and gala to gala. It has been out on the bigger jobs too: a two-day Scout camp, one of the largest private funfairs we have ever run, had it working alongside the dodgems, the chair-o-planes and the event catering.

Every ride runs out of our 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham, five minutes from the M1, M18 and A1. Funfair ride hire in Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley is the daily run, Worksop and Chesterfield included, and the ride travels nationwide for bigger bookings.
If you'd rather build a small fair than book one ride, the Juvenile Mini Waltzes sits at the same £495, with the Juvenile Chair O Planes and the bigger Jumpin Jack alongside it.
