This is the box that turns one 32A feed into a set of usable circuits. Take a 32A lead from a generator or site supply into the inlet, and four 16A sockets come out the other side for running separate kit, with a 32A through socket as well for sending power on to another distro elsewhere on site.
It's part of PCE's IMST range of mobile distribution boxes, designed and built in Austria to an extremely high standard, and for the price we think they're the best portable distro boxes you'll find anywhere. The case is shock-resistant polyamide with a high-grade steel folding carry handle, it's IP44 splashproof so it works outdoors as well as in, and the stackable design keeps the boxes tidy in storage. All the protection sits behind a clear hinged window, so you can see every breaker position at a glance while it runs.
What it suits
Anything that runs several pieces of equipment off one feed. Marquee bars pairing a tea urn with fridges, stage rigs spreading PA and lighting across separate circuits, catering pitches and exhibitor stands all fed from one generator. An incoming 32A 30mA RCBO protects the whole unit, and each of the four 16A outlets gets its own 16A type C MCB, so one faulty appliance trips only its own circuit. Worth knowing before you book: the 32A through socket has no breaker of its own, so it's meant for linking our other IMST distros together, and whatever you hang off it relies on the protection upstream.
