Hire this towable diesel bowser when a site needs fuelling for more than a day. It's a self-contained 1650 litre bunded tank that arrives on its own trailer, so it gets towed to site, parked next to the kit and left to do its job. The top is lockable, and the bunded design means any leak or spill is caught before it reaches the ground.
Refuelling goes through the built-in hand pump, or the tank can feed an auxiliary source such as a 20 kVA diesel generator or a diesel heater. It's designed to run our 20 kVA generators on long-term hire, and we've used it to keep generators and marquee heaters supplied through multi-day events. Onsite refuelling and servicing
You don't have to handle the fuel yourselves. We can arrange onsite refuelling, manage the deliveries and cover any maintenance the tank needs while it's on hire. We're based between Rotherham and Sheffield, right by the A1, M1 and M18, and we cover Doncaster, Barnsley, Worksop, Chesterfield and the rest of the UK.
Insurance requirement
One thing to know before you book: if you're hiring this tank on its own, you'll need to produce hire-in-plant insurance before it goes out. Hire multiple products from us at the same time and that requirement doesn't apply.
Price and booking
Hire starts from £275, and on longer terms it can work out as low as £45 per week depending on the length of the hire. All prices are subject to VAT. This tank is quoted by the office rather than booked online, so tell us your dates and what it's fuelling and we'll put a price together.
