Our giant deck chair is a 6ft-tall, 9ft-wide seaside-themed photo prop, a proper oversized version of the traditional British stripy deckchair. Two adults can sit back in it at once - it's the photo opportunity people walk over to first at a corporate fun day, wedding, freshers' week or town-centre event.
It's part of our Seaside Fundays and Sandpit Hire range, the kit we put together for British seaside theme days. It pairs with our giant sandpit for a full seaside photo set, with traditional deck chairs for guests to sit on, and our giant helter skelter for a funfair-themed setup.
We've been hiring out event equipment since 1999. We own 95% of our kit in-house and look after it from our 25,000 sq ft Rotherham warehouse, 5 minutes from the A1, M1 and M18. Every hire comes with delivery, setup and collection, £5 million public liability insurance, and risk assessments if your venue needs them. We work regularly with Sheffield City Council, Doncaster Metropolitan Council and Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council, so the park and council event paperwork is familiar ground. We deliver across Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, Worksop and Chesterfield, with nationwide runs for bigger bookings.
