Worksop is around thirty minutes from the warehouse up the A57, covering S80 and S81 across Bassetlaw. The same run takes in Carlton-in-Lindrick, Blyth, Harworth and Retford, and the vans do it most weeks through the season.
The biggest furniture run we’ve done in Worksop was a community fun day at Manton Sports on Retford Road: 100 deck chairs out on the pitch with a gazebo row, two candy floss carts and a Hungry Hippos beside them. The funfair at Stubbing Lane took twenty deck chairs to sit out the dodgems and the waltzer, and Clumber Park - the National Trust estate just down the road - has had 25 deck chairs out with mini golf and a photo booth on its event days.

A few honest notes, because they come up: delivered orders carry a £50 minimum spend plus delivery, and deck chairs have a minimum quantity that depends on where the event is and what else is on the van. The tables are working hire kit - we wipe them down between hires, but for a smart do we’d suggest tablecloths, which venues expect at those events anyway. And the flooring lives on the ground, so it comes back clean but not pristine. None of that is a problem if you know it going in.

How clean are the tables and chairs?
They’re working hire kit. We wipe the tables down and check every chair between hires, but they go to fun days and conferences rather than showrooms - so for a wedding or a smart corporate do, add tablecloths, which is what those venues expect anyway. The flooring is the same deal: it lives on the ground, so it comes back clean but not pristine, and we say so up front.
How far in advance should I book?
Summer Saturdays and the December party season go first, so six weeks is comfortable and earlier is safer for orders in the hundreds of chairs. Outside those peaks, same-week and next-week hires are usually fine, especially across South Yorkshire where our vans already run every day.
