Liverpool is about an hour and a quarter from the warehouse across the M62, and the waterfront keeps pulling us back. We've worked the ACC and Monarchs Quay repeatedly, Lime Street station, the Titanic Hotel and Aintree, and Liverpool John Moores' student events are in the calendar most years.
Halloween bookings from the Liverpool side tend to be waterfront and venue work first, with the bars round the city centre booking the booths for the weekend either side of the 31st. Anything on the waterfront has loading rules worth checking early - dock-side access, lift sizes, that sort of thing - and we'll walk you through it at the quote stage rather than finding out on the day.

Fairground Stalls for the Season
For the younger end, the side stalls do the heavy lifting. The Coconut Shy, Tin Can Alley and Fish Bowl Challenge go out in their themed marquees with an operator on each and prizes on the table, and the Grand Carnival Fun Fair Stalls bundles four games into one stall if you want the line without the footprint.
Round Out the Night
We can add a 15-inch PA speaker for music, the candy floss machine or pick and mix sweetie stand for the sweet-toothed, and the snow effects machine that throws low fog across the entrance. Outdoor venue without power? generators from 6kva, cables included. It's dark by teatime at the end of October, so festoon lighting strung over the marquee or battery-powered uplighters washing the walls belong in the plan as well.

What space and power does the kit need?
Each game or booth runs off one standard socket. The Rodeo Pumpkin needs a clear 16ft by 16ft with 3ft 3in of access, which most venue floors take. For outdoor events we hire generators, and for the dock-side venues we plan the loading route with you in advance.
Do you staff the rides and games?
The pumpkin ride and the manned stalls come with trained operators. Booths and games can be attended or self-serve, and event staff are available to add for bigger venue nights.
How far ahead should we book?
Halloween weekend in Liverpool books early through the venues, so four weeks is a sensible target for the busy dates. Late enquiries are always worth a call - we hold kit back where we can.
