Our massage chairs are full-body electric models upholstered in black. You sit down, press start, and the chair runs a bodyscan to find your shoulders before the four-roller back system gets going. Six automatic programs cover shiatsu, kneading, tapping and combination massage, air bladders work the seat and the calves, and there's a reflexology setting for the feet. The backrest and footrest recline independently of each other, right down to flat, and each session runs on a timer that switches the chair off at the end, so it looks after itself once it's plugged in. It needs a standard 240V mains socket, and outdoors it goes under cover.
Who hires them
Staff wellbeing is where the longest hires come from. Amazon has run month-long hires of the chairs at their fulfilment centres, alongside arcade games and photo booths booked for the same sites, and offices, gyms and health clubs take them on weekly and monthly rentals. They also go out to conferences, health fairs, parties, weddings and sports events, where the chair gets used for recovery after the match. Trade shows and exhibitions hire one as well, because people waiting for a turn stay near your stand, and your team gets time to talk to them.
Hiring and delivery
Hire starts from £449 for one chair for a week, priced per chair, with daily, weekly and monthly rates available. Weighing up buying chairs for the office? A month's hire answers that for a lot less than a purchase order. Delivery and setup are charged on top, quoted by location and the length of hire, and some delivery areas carry a minimum spend. The chairs are our own stock, maintained in-house at our Rotherham warehouse alongside the rest of our 600-plus products, and every hire carries our £5 million public liability insurance. We deliver across Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, Worksop and Chesterfield, and nationwide for corporate bookings.

Delivery and pairing it up
The chairs live in our 25,000 sq ft Rotherham warehouse, five minutes from the A1, M1 and M18, and go out across South Yorkshire, the East Midlands and nationwide for corporate bookings, including regular deliveries to exhibition venues such as NEC Birmingham and ExCeL London. The chair pairs well with a photo booth for a wellbeing lounge or with exhibition games on a stand.
