It's as simple as it sounds: one of our own team, on site for up to six hours, from £260 plus VAT, doing whatever your event needs doing. Our staff run the games, supervise the kit we've hired you, marshal queues and crowds, or work front of house on brand activations and stands, in DB uniform so everyone knows who to ask. If you've been searching for event stewards or marshals rather than event staff, it's the same job.
One thing to know before you book: some of the kit we hire, height equipment especially, only goes out with our own staff supervising it, because that's what our insurance requires. If your quote includes one of those items, this is the line that covers it. Supplying staff also means your event is covered by our £5 million public liability insurance, with indemnity to principal when we supply staff, the cover corporate procurement teams specifically ask for.
Where our staff have worked
Mostly fun days and fetes around Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley, running castles, stalls and games so the organisers can get on with everything else. Bigger jobs too: staff cover right across a Scouts and Guides camp in Nottinghamshire that had around 4,000 on site, and the Rotherham Show, where our crew ran the inflatables while we supplied the stages, sound and power alongside. Six hours isn't the only length: the same staff day runs from 1 x Staff Up to 3 hours at £130 up to 1 x Staff Up to 8 hours at £345. Need more than one member of staff? This booking covers the first, and every extra one after that is £21 per hour - add them to the quote and we'll price the team.

Staff day prices
Prices cover one member of staff; each extra member after the first is £21 per hour. All prices exclude VAT (+20%), and there may be a minimum spend depending on your event location.

Pairs well with
No mains power where the staffed kit is going? Add a 5 kVA diesel generator. For queues and crowd management we also hire metal crowd control barriers, safety fencing and Tensa belt barriers for indoors.
