CASTLE CATASTROPHE

Castle Catastrophe is one of the big games in our It's A Knockout range. Two teams line up on opposite sides of a giant inflatable castle, race out to grab their nine wall sections, carry them across the arena and stack them into a cube before the other team gets there. First complete wall wins, and the spectators usually get louder than the players.

Our crew can run it as a straight wall-build race, or add the wet sponge round where one team scrambles over the top while the other soaks them from the buckets. Both versions tend to end with a lot of cheering and the odd soggy competitor.

Who it suits

Children and adults can both play. It's a staple at corporate fun days and team building days, school rewards days, scout camps and charity fundraisers. Book it as part of a full It's a Knockout package and we split your group into teams of 5 or 10, run a 3-hour session with an MC, PA and scoring, and finish with winner's medals, alongside games like Balloon Bomb Squad, giant sack racing and giant skis.

Practical bits

• Unit size: 12ft x 30ft, 12ft tall
• Indoors on artificial grass or hard flooring, outdoors on grass
• Not suitable on outdoor concrete or wood chip
• Runs off a mains socket, and if your site has no power we can bring a petrol blower or one of our generators
• Set up, run and supervised by our own trained staff

Every booking carries £5 million public liability insurance, and we'll email risk assessments and method statements to your venue before the day.
