Balloon Bomb Squad is a two-player balloon pump race, also known as the Bomb Squad or balloon burst game. Each player works a detonator-style hand pump to inflate their balloon inside a steel cage, and the first balloon to burst against the spikes wins. Races take seconds, the noise gets people over from across the field, and we include unlimited balloons so everyone gets plenty of turns.
It's made by Airquee and the pumps are manual, so there's no mains power needed: any flat surface works, indoors or out. That's why it turns up at team building days, office parties, school fun days and family fundays around Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster, and it's small enough to carry through a standard doorway.
Each set covers two players and we hold up to four sets, so eight people can race at once. It also drops straight into a bigger course: put a set or two alongside Castle Catastrophe, Tunnel Vision or the 100 ft Mega Assault Course with Base Jump as part of a It's A Knockout style event, or browse the rest of our range for more ideas.
