DB Entertainment has been hiring out event kit since 1999, and 95% of it lives in-house in our 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham. Marquee Hire for Sheffield Events
Sheffield is the closest city to the warehouse. We are based in Rotherham, 10 to 15 minutes from Sheffield city centre via the A630 Parkway or M1 J33, so the van is in S1 before the morning rush and out to the suburbs whenever your event needs it. Same-week bookings are usually fine outside the summer Saturday peak.
Sheffield brings the most consistent marquee work for DB outside our own borough. The Christmas Market Stall Hire has run at town-centre light switch-ons across S1 to S17, and the same stalls go out to summer university and council events through the season. Recent Sheffield work includes the Manor and Castle Development Trust community events, Great Places Housing fun days across Manor, Richmond Park and Wybourn, and the Megacentre on Bernard Road.

Holding It Down - Weights, Barriers and Flooring
Hard standing changes the build. Each marquee on tarmac or concrete needs weight instead of pegs, and the 500kg concrete weights are the council-event default. The whole infrastructure range below travels on the same van as the marquee.

There is no customer collection - the warehouse is not open for browsing, only the sale items are viewable in person. Everything arrives set up and ready, and our crew places furniture and signage while we are there.

What size marquee do I need?
The 3 x 3m gazebo fits four to six people standing, which is why it is the default for a beer garden, market stall or small party. The 3 x 4.5m marquee takes six to eight standing or four seated, and the Christmas Market Stall is the same 3 x 4.5m footprint with a timber-look front. For larger events, hire two or three in a row - that is the pattern DB uses. There is no single 9 x 18m pole marquee in our stock.
What about hard standing vs grass?
On grass the gazebo frames pin down with supplied pegs. On tarmac, concrete or any hard standing we use 500kg concrete weights instead - typically two or three per gazebo depending on wind. For loose chip or soft ground, Roll a Track Flooring goes underneath. Tell us the surface when you book and we will bring the right ballast.
Can I hire multiple marquees for one event?
Yes, and most bookings are this. A 7-gazebo charity walk, a 4-marquee corporate summer social, a 10-stall Christmas market - these are all real DB bookings. Multi-marquee hires on the same delivery get a discount versus single hires, and the same crew sets them all up.

Yes - the Christmas Market Stall Hire from £295 is a 3 x 4.5m mini marquee with a timber-look market hut frontage, the German/Belgian Christmas market style. Up to ten in stock. Town-centre light switch-ons and festive fairs across South Yorkshire are the standard booking pattern from November to mid-December.
