Scout camp activities for Leeds districts and the camps around Otley, Bramhope and Esholt. The M1 and M62 put Leeds about 40 minutes from our Rotherham base, and we have worked with Leeds and Bingley Scout groups on camp activity days.
Bingley Scouts booked our mobile climbing wall with the built-in bungee trampolines, along with games such as Hungry Hippos, for a camp activity day. Leeds groups book the same kit. That combination works because the wall and bungee beds share one trailer, so a group gets two activities from a single delivery and one crew.
We cover LS1 to LS29, including Leeds, Otley, Bramhope and Wetherby. The camps around Otley, Bramhope and Esholt usually have grass and vehicle access, which suits the climbing wall, Spider Mountain and the bungee rig. A city venue with a hard standing or a school field can still take laser quest and the 70ft assault course, provided the surface is agreed in advance.
For a Leeds camp with more than 100 young people, we would run three or four items side by side and rotate sections through them. The climbing wall moves about 60 an hour, laser quest runs short games, and archery keeps a queue occupied between the bigger activities.
