For a county camp, the job is an activity zone rather than a single hire. We plan the rota around sections, staff every item, and keep the same crew on site for the run. The 220ft Bootcamp, Spider Mountain and the 26ft climbing wall are the three items that handle the biggest queues; smaller camps often take one of them plus archery or laser quest.
For the 259th Stephen Hill Scouts' 70th anniversary, we supplied four activities to a group of 80, including the Adrenaline course and a 9-pod maze. That mix of ages and abilities is typical of a Yorkshire district camp, and it is the planning we do best.
