Newark Showground is the big one. Nottinghamshire Scouts have booked an 11-product multi-day camp there, with dodgems, chair-o-planes, a twister, fun food and the power to run them, plus longer ride hours on the Saturday and Sunday nights. That is the scale a county camp can reach when the site has the space and the programme needs an evening fair as well as daytime activities.
Walesby Forest is a different shape of booking: chair-o-planes and repeat fun-food orders, with the quieter kit fitting around the campsite's own programme. In Nottingham itself we have worked with Nottingham Scouts at city events, and the 4,000-person Scouts and Guides camp in the county used a wide mix of activities across the weekend.
We cover NG1 to NG24, including Nottingham, Newark and the Sherwood Forest camps. For a Nottingham district camp, the delivery run is about 45 to 55 minutes via the M1, with Newark and Walesby adding time toward the A1. Tell us the site and we will group the kit so one van covers as much of the programme as possible.
