Our electronic Whack a Mole brings the classic arcade game to your event. Two players go head-to-head with tethered foam mallets, hammering the LED-lit dome targets as they pop up at random across the playfield, with a running digital scoreboard sorting out who’s winning. Each round lasts around 30 seconds, which is short enough to keep the queue moving and the crowd watching.
This is the electronic take on the format Japanese amusements firm TOGO invented in 1975. Our unit swaps the old mechanical pop-ups for LED-lit targets, so there’s nothing to jam, and the foam mallets are tethered so they never walk off between players.
It plays for ages 6 and up, indoors or out. Cover is recommended outdoors because the unit is electrical. We’ve run it at corporate fun days, Christmas parties, wedding receptions, school events and private celebrations across Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, Worksop and Chesterfield, and on bespoke-branded stands at the NEC Birmingham, ExCel London and Wembley.
Branded for your stand
The cabinet wraps fully in your artwork - front panel, sides and playfield. Recent client runs include Specsavers recruitment stands (The Specsavers game went down really well, Chris Kent told us), Collect+ and Yodel parcel launches, and Perfectly Clear water-brand activations. Branding is printed, applied, stripped after hire and produced by our in-house team.

Whack a Mole pairs well with other exhibition games. Popular combinations include Batak Pro, Strike a Light, Atari Pong and Grab a Grand. For a different skin across the year, we also stock Whack a Zombie for Halloween and Whack a Snowman for Christmas - same mechanics, different atmosphere.

We’ve been at this for over 25 years, own and maintain 95% of our equipment in-house from our 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham, and we don’t sub-hire. Every hire carries £5 million public liability insurance plus the risk assessments and method statements corporate clients and venues ask for. Clients include Amazon and Specsavers, councils across South and West Yorkshire, and venues from the NEC Birmingham to London Wembley. Europe-wide service is available for larger packages.
