Sit on a giant football and try to stay on while it bucks and spins. Two built-in timers keep score, one for the current ride and one for the all-time leader, so the competition runs itself. We can add a leaderboard and hand out certificates if you want a formal winner. You'll also hear it called a rodeo football or a bucking football - it's the same ride.
It's a mechanical ride rather than a screen-based football simulator: underneath, it's the same multi-ride machine our rodeo bull runs on, and the bull, sheep and seasonal figures all bolt onto the one base. That machine went out on 38 bookings in the last 12 months, from Amazon warehouse staff days to local tournaments. A trained DB operator travels with it to set the speed and intensity for each rider, tamer for younger or less confident ones.
It's a natural fit for Euro and World Cup watch parties and fan zones, end-of-season club dos, presentation nights, sportsman's dinners, team building days and community fun days. We supplied one for a community football tournament in Doncaster alongside our Penalty Shootout and a giant garden slide. It pairs well with the Mega Rugby/Football Pitch and the Interactive Football Challenge if you want the full football theme.
Riders need to be 10 or over and at least 1.1m tall; for younger children we have Billy the Bull, a gentler ride for ages 3 and up. The football sits in the middle of a cushioned inflatable bed with safety matting around the outside. The whole setup is 18ft across and 9ft tall, so check your hall or marquee has the room before you book. Every rodeo hire includes £5 million public liability insurance and risk assessments. We've been operating mechanical rides for over 25 years and own and maintain the machine in-house.

Space and Power
Unit size 18ft x 18ft and 9ft high. Allow a 20ft x 20ft area, 3.3ft of access through doors and gates, and two standard 13A sockets within 25m. If there's no mains power we can supply a generator from our generator and safety equipment range. Works indoors and outdoors on grass, artificial grass or hard flooring.
Price and Booking
Three hours' hire starts at £395 plus VAT. Standard drop-off is before 12pm with collection after 6pm; note your preferred three-hour window in the customer comments when you book. Staff cover to 10pm can be arranged - let us know your finish time. A PA system and floodlights are available on request.
Riders
Minimum age 10 and minimum height 1.1m. For ages 3 and up we also have Billy the Bull.
