This is our working list of halls we deliver entertainment to: village halls, community centres, church halls, youth clubs, sports clubs and miners' welfare rooms, more than 50 of them, all known from actual bookings rather than a copied directory. Every venue on this page has its own page listing which room fits which equipment. Larger places like the Ecclesfield Community Sports Centre in north Sheffield take full-size inflatables in the sports hall, halls such as Mapplewell & Staincross Village Hall near Barnsley have arched ceilings of four metres or more, and further afield we supply exhibitions at ExCeL London and the NEC Birmingham.

We had some hiccups with the venue, but DB were patient, and when it looked like we might not be able to have a bouncy castle offered alternatives. Peter said.

What fits indoors

• bouncy castles sized to the room, including compact ones built for halls with limited space
• bouncy slides and combos where the floor allows
• disco domes with built-in LED lights and speakers, so you need no separate disco setup
• soft play sets in jungle, pirate and princess themes, plus a toddler soft play zone for under-fives
• arcade games and plug-in games such as Whack a Mole for mixed ages

How an indoor hire works

Ceiling height rather than floor space usually decides what fits, so it's worth asking the hall how high the roof goes before you book anything. Pegs aren't possible inside a building, so we anchor every unit down with weighted sandbags and lay floor protection mats underneath. That's how we've set up castles and slides indoors through winter and all year round for years.

Every hire carries £5 million public liability insurance, and we can email risk assessments straight to you or the hall committee beforehand, which most venues want sight of. Equipment is PAT tested, and delivery, setup and collection come in our own vehicles from a 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham near the M1.
